”Quasiment en face de l'aquarium, donc un peu excentré mais ça ajoute au charme à cette auberge. Un accueil incroyable de gentillesse de la part de toute l'équipe. En demi-pension, un dîner gargantuesque et délicieux (6 plats + un dessert). Le petit déjeuner à choisir entre style japonais ou occidental. La gérante nous a offert des parapluies car il s'est mis à pleuvoir au moment de notre départ. Le genre de petite attention qui fait la différence. Un établissement à recommander.”

”Wonderful stay in a traditional machiya. Stayed in Samurai room with terrace which was perfect to relax in after long day. Our highlight was omakase dinner with the best sushi we've ever had! Western style breakfast was delicious and not too heavy. Took chef’s advice to take evening walk to see Miyajima at night and it was perfect to see the torii gate and shrine at night without the crowds. If you can spare a night here to escape the city and experience the island in the evening would highly...

”We absolutely loved Hiroshimanoyado Aioi. It was one of our favourite stays of our holiday in Japan. The traditional features of the hotel added to the cultural experience of our holiday. The hotel staff were the friendliest and most helpful of all the hotels we stayed in. The ambience of the hotel and the staff were entirely charming. The location right next to the Peace Gardens was beautiful, tranquil and convenient. We would not hesitate to book this hotel next time we visit Japan.”

”The staff was exceptional. They graciously made follow-up phone calls relating to a lost mobile phone and assisted us in locating it. Great location. Adequate accommodations. The major negative was the pungent smell in the room. It smelt like cooked cauliflower, which we mitigated by opening the windows and using air freshener.”

”The flat is located near the ferry port. It's a good spot to stay. The hosts gave us precisely instructions about checking in and out and they were very helpful, answering our questions. The flat is huge, perfect as we were with family and friends. Very clean, comfortable beds, kitchen fully equipped. Nothing wrong. ”

”A lovely hotel, just in a messy place in Hiroshima. Staff were attentive. Breakfast options were very poor - I suggest eating out if you’re staying there. Basic amenities, but everything you needed. The area surrounding is ‘ladies of the night’ and not entirely appealing to families. ”
