GUEST RESPONSIBILITY: SANITATION, WASTE & VECTOR PREVENTION

Guests are expected to treat the property responsibly and maintain a healthful and sanitary living environment throughout their stay, consistent with all applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws, ordinances, regulations, and other legal requirements.

Food residue, exposed food waste, accumulated garbage, standing water, and unsanitary conditions can attract or support vectors and pests, including flies, mosquitoes, cockroaches, ants, and rodents, potentially creating public-health concerns.

In accordance with applicable sanitation, waste-disposal, and property-maintenance requirements, guests are expected to exercise reasonable care to prevent unsanitary conditions and pest attractants during their occupancy.

Please:

Dispose of household waste in the designated indoor trash receptacles.

Store food appropriately and promptly address spills and food residue.

Place used dishes in the sink rather than leaving food-soiled dishes and food waste scattered throughout the property.

Avoid allowing garbage, food waste, or other pest attractants to accumulate in a manner that may create unsanitary conditions or attract vectors.

Notify the host promptly if you observe a sanitation issue, pest activity, or a condition that may pose a health or safety concern.

These expectations concern reasonable guest care and compliance with applicable legal requirements. They do not require guests to perform professional housekeeping, deep cleaning, wash and put away dishes, or undertake other tasks ordinarily performed by the host`s cleaning service.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY & AUTHORIZED GUESTS

Each property has a specific maximum occupancy based on its sleeping arrangements, available accommodations, and applicable safety and occupancy requirements.

Only the number of guests included in the confirmed Airbnb reservation and within the property`s stated maximum occupancy is permitted to stay overnight. The property cannot accommodate additional overnight guests beyond its approved capacity.

Any request to increase the number of guests must be submitted through Airbnb and approved by the host in advance, subject to the property`s maximum occupancy and applicable requirements. An unapproved increase in overnight occupancy constitutes a violation of the property`s disclosed house rules and reservation terms.

If an unauthorized additional guest is identified, the host may document the situation and contact Airbnb to seek assistance and resolution in accordance with Airbnb`s policies and applicable law. Any changes to the reservation, cancellation, or other remedies will be handled through Airbnb`s applicable procedures.

NO PARTIES OR EVENTS

Parties and events are not permitted at this property. In accordance with Airbnb’s Community Disturbance Policy, disruptive gatherings are prohibited regardless of size.

The property may only be used for the approved reservation and authorized occupancy. Gatherings that cause excessive noise, disturb neighbors, create excessive trash, or otherwise disrupt the surrounding community are not permitted.

Guests are expected to respect the property, neighbors, occupancy limits, and all applicable community rules throughout their stay.

If a party, unauthorized event, or disruptive gathering occurs, the host may document the situation and contact Airbnb Support to seek assistance in accordance with Airbnb’s policies and applicable law.

PET POLICY, ANIMAL CARE, SANITATION & PROPERTY PROTECTION

Pets are welcome at this property, subject to the following house rules, Airbnb policies, and applicable federal, state, county, and municipal laws and regulations.

Our goal is to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all guests while protecting the property and respecting the needs of guests traveling with service animals.

1. Pet Fees

A pet fee applies to authorized household pets and must be disclosed and processed through Airbnb`s applicable pricing and payment system.

The pet fee covers expected additional cleaning associated with an authorized pet. It does not cover property damage, extraordinary cleaning beyond ordinary pet-related cleaning, or other losses that may be eligible for reimbursement under Airbnb`s policies.

Pet fees and pet-related restrictions do not apply to service animals or other assistance animals where prohibited by Airbnb policy or applicable law.

2. Supervision and Unattended Animals

Guests are responsible for the care, supervision, and control of their animals throughout their stay.

Household pets must not be left unattended inside the property unless they are securely confined in an appropriate kennel or crate that is suitable for the animal`s size and welfare.

Animals must not be permitted to roam unsupervised, create excessive noise, damage the property, or pose a safety risk to other occupants or the surrounding community.

Service animals and other protected assistance animals are subject to the applicable requirements of Airbnb`s Accessibility Policy and governing law. They will not automatically be subjected to ordinary pet restrictions, including kennel requirements. Service animals must remain under their handler`s control and be housebroken. Guests must not leave a service animal unattended at the property without prior approval, consistent with Airbnb`s policy.

3. Animal Health, Vaccinations, and Required Documentation

Guests are responsible for ensuring that their household pets comply with all applicable animal-health, vaccination, licensing, and documentation requirements established by federal, Alabama state, Mobile County, or City of Mobile authorities, as applicable.

Where required by law, animals must have current rabies vaccinations and any other legally mandated immunizations. Required licenses, vaccination certificates, and other legally required records must be maintained in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Guests must comply with applicable public-health, animal-control, and animal-documentation requirements. Documentation must be made available to an authorized regulatory authority when legally required.

These requirements will be applied consistently with Airbnb`s Accessibility Policy and applicable law. Service animals and other protected assistance animals will not be treated as ordinary pets or subjected to blanket pet-related documentation requirements that are not legally permitted.

4. Sanitation and Waste Disposal

Guests must exercise reasonable care to maintain sanitary conditions when an animal is present at the property.

Animal waste must be promptly and properly disposed of in accordance with applicable waste-disposal requirements. Guests must promptly address animal-related accidents, spills, and soiling to prevent odors, unsanitary conditions, or pest activity.

Animals must not be permitted to create persistent odors, excessive shedding-related messes, or other unsanitary conditions beyond what is reasonably expected during a stay.

Routine cleaning associated with a service animal, including ordinary animal hair or dander, will not be charged as an additional pet-cleaning fee where prohibited by Airbnb policy or applicable law.

5. Animal-Related Property Damage

The pet fee covers expected additional cleaning only. It does not include damage to furniture, flooring, walls, doors, bedding, linens, fixtures, landscaping, or other property caused by an animal.

Guests are expected to report animal-related damage or incidents promptly.

Where damage or extraordinary cleaning is attributable to a guest or their animal, the host may submit a documented reimbursement request through Airbnb`s Resolution Center in accordance with Airbnb`s applicable policies, deadlines, and review procedures.

Claims may be supported by relevant photographs, invoices, receipts, repair estimates, or other appropriate documentation. Reimbursement is subject to Airbnb`s review and applicable terms and is not automatic.

Nothing in this section overrides the protections applicable to service animals or other assistance animals under Airbnb policy or governing law.

6. Service Animals and Assistance Animals

Service animals are not considered ordinary pets under Airbnb`s Accessibility Policy and are accommodated in accordance with that policy and applicable law.

No pet fee or prohibited pet-related surcharge will be imposed for a service animal. Guests traveling with service animals are not subject to ordinary pet restrictions that conflict with Airbnb`s policy or applicable disability-rights law.

Handlers are responsible for maintaining control of their service animals, ensuring they are housebroken, and complying with applicable laws and the portions of Airbnb`s policy that apply to assistance animals.

Airbnb`s policy provides specific requirements and limited circumstances in which a host may be permitted to request that a service animal not be left alone at a property without prior approval. Any such requirements will be applied in accordance with Airbnb policy and applicable law.
