Our family was disappointed that the pool was closed for “maintenance” - I received an email the night before our stay, stating the pool was not available. When I scheduled it a month or so before, there was nothing about the pool being unavailable. I have had this experience with other Marriott hotels in the past and it is a little frustrating.
One more issue was upon checking in, I was told we were getting a room with a king bed, when I had requested 2 queens when scheduling our stay. I received email confirmation that the room had “multiple beds” after I had paid for the room. The attendant told me there were no other 2 queen beds available. I explained I had 3 adults sleeping in the room and needed 2 beds. It took him about 20 minutes or so for us to get the room I had paid for. It was an ADA room, felt bad about taking that from a person that might have needed it…
I would stay here again but will confirm over and over that the pool is available (if advertised) and I that the correct room is reserved. This shouldn’t be my responsibility as a customer
