”The property was in a beautiful location and inside was lovely and clean. Also everything you need in the cupboards Garden area was great and a lot of the farm animals came to say hello Nice walks nearby and other lovely places to visit by car. Would recommend people who are looking for a peaceful stay especially if you have a dog”

”There were issues with obtaining the checkin details in a timely manner. Property only superficially clean set in a not very pleasant location with an appalling access road. The boiler was extremely smelly and there were no instructions for the heating. Towels were totally inadequate in this day and age.”

”A very nicely refurbished cottage with all necessary equipment and appliances. 50 metres walk to the mostly deserted beach. Not much to do in Powfoot itself, so driving is essential. Caravan park cafe very good and Powfoot hotel good if you don't have a dog.”

”A fabulous house for a truly lovely break away. Lovey spacious accommodation, done to a very high standard. Everything we needed was there. I would highly recommend it and we hope to go back. Do try to arrive in daylight hours as it is not the easiest to navigate in the dark.”

”Lazydays is a really lovely cottage down a side street (parking outside no problems at all). It's a minutes walk to the main street with lots of choices to eat and some nice walks. Great communication from the owner. Definitely recommended !”

”The place is super quaint and clean. Hosts very responsive and helpful. Not a lot in town to eat, the one pub was not recommended, so be sure to plan meals accordingly. Easy drive to train station. Parking was limited and a bit far away.”

”We enjoyed our stay in the house.Next to a bowling green and the gokf course and with a wonderful back garden. The house was huge but had a lovely feeling. It had everything you could possibly need, altho one or two more sharp knives would be a bonus. Plenty to do in the area and lovely home to return to at night”
