Check in went smoothly and soon after, we headed for the pool. It was clean, private and had plenty of lounges to sit on. ”The staff was very helpful when I change my stay from 3 night to 2 nights. They also were nice enough to change me from a 2nd floor room to the first floor when they found out that I was having a knee replacement. The ebening after my surgery my sister went to the Bar/Restaurant and was able to get us someting to eat which was very good. ”There was no one at the front desk when I arrived. I waited for about 10 minutes for the receptionist to arrive. My door handle to my room didn’t work well, had to push it up instead of down to open the door, then the door stuck so you practically had to body slam it to get it open. The desk had a slight coat of dust on it. The “breakfast” consisted of small store bought prepackaged donuts, granola bars and apples along with vending machine style coffee. Not worth my money to stay there. ”

”Driving from Michigan to New Hampshire I was looking for a convenient, affordable place to stop for the night. Located right off the NY Thruway in Utica, this was the perfect place. Clean, cheap, and quiet. Discovering Willie’s Bagel Cafe at the motel entrance was a bonus! The veggie omelette and fresh coffee were the fuel I needed to get back on the road. Be sure to go early, they get busy around 8.”

”Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.”

”Perfectly clean room, excellent room rate, easy check-in experience, new fixtures in the bathroom, and a larger than usual mini-fridge. We would certainly stay here again! The manager allowed us to check-in a few hours early to freshen-up before attending a funeral, and then she waived the early check-in fee - CLASSY LADY!!”
