”We had an amazing stay at Hana Lodge. The room was so cozy and comfortable, and we were so taken care of during our entire stay. The room/hotel had a lot of amenities and we absolutely loved all the art throughout the hotel and their resident alpacas! The breakfast is also made to order and was so delicious. Top tier hospitality/staff - big shout out to Star (星星) who absolutely made our stay unforgettable!”

”The property was cozy, the staff was helpful, and accommodating. The rooms and areas were very cleaned and maintained well. Would love to stay here again. We enjoyed the lakeside hot tub as well that was very clean although the light there looks like it needs to be replaced. Would be a great spot for large groups as well.”

”The hotel was quite nice and the beds comfortable. We had to ask for more coffee bags, since there was only one small filter bag in the room.
No disch washer. Only stairs up to the second level. The restaurant-also for breakfast -was closed.”

”My stay here as a solo traveler was the best decision I made for my trip. Dave and Shami were so friendly, kind, welcoming, and just genuinely good people. The room was so cozy and has an incredible view overlooking Rotorua. The breakfast spread was incredible and it was lovely to spend some time talking to other travelers about where they’re from and get ideas. I absolutely plan to come back again and recommend this place to anyone passing through Rotorua.”
