”Lovely pub, friendly staff. We only stayed 1 night but the rooms were very clean and had everything you needed.
The breakfast was cooked beautifully and really tasty. We would have had diner there but unfortunately it was the Christmas market on within Tarvin that evening so no food was served other than a stall outside. Free parking for people staying in the pub.
Within a 15 min drive into Chester - Wouldn’t hesitate to go back. An enjoyable if not brief visit. ”

”Beautiful listed house, full of character, amazing stay from start to end, the owners couldn't do enough for you, and food was excellent, and I have to add never had such a warm comfortable bed ever, will definitely be going back, cannot praise it enough

”We rang ahead to see if we could get an early check -in. The owner was really helpful, and accommodated our request. The room was clean, warm, and the bed comfortable.
The owner was attentive and friendly at breakfast. Cereal, and a full breakfast/toast were available.
Good value for money.
Only slight criticism was, there was an old bike with a flat tyre in the hallway, which could be cleared away.
