”In town for Labor Day to visit family. Great little oasis to relax after full days of family time. Everything was great— clean, quiet, and well stocked. Hot tub was clean and hot (sometimes you get a warm tub instead…). There were even extra toiletries provided in case you forgot yours! No body soap/wash during our stay, which could have been an oversight at that time. Highly recommend!”

”My group was amazed with the house from the minute we pulled up. The views are stunning, the house was very clean, and was set up with everything we needed. The layout is incredibly unique, and we enjoyed spending time wondering around to find everything we had seen in the pictures. We had a minor issue with the door lock one day, but the host answered my call immediately and resolved the situation in a matter of minutes. We had someone in our group with some mobility issues so I will note...

”This was a wonderful home! It was meticulously clean and within walking distance of downtown Chippewa. The home has a historically significant past, and has amazing details throughout. The view from the deck is gorgeous. The owner was very responsive and helpful! I highly recommend this home!”

”This house was great! We were down to visit my son at Winona State University for the weekend. Fountain City was the perfect cute little river town and it was a short drive away. The house was cozy, clean, quiet, and well stocked. Beds were very comfortable and the host is very accomodating and always seeking to improve, which shows great character. ”We enjoyed the impressive views and spending time on the screened-in porch. (The views are more impressive than the photos show, especially at sunset!) Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and other kitchen items. It's a beautiful and scenic drive along the river to get there. The driveway is very steep, but there are a few pull off spots next to the road for easier parking. Thanks for the wonderful stay!”
