”Charming boutique hotel—cozy, stylish, and well kept. The staff are genuinely courteous and attentive, offering helpful tips and warm service throughout. Food is excellent (breakfast is a standout), making the on-site dining worth staying in for. Convenient location too: about 15 minutes from the center of Monemvasia, so you’re close to the action but in a quieter spot. Overall, great value for a relaxed, quality stay.”

”5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

”The property is beautiful. Rooms are tastefully decorated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the center but be careful because the road is very narrow. It’s extremely challenging if you encounter another vehicle from the opposite direction. The amenities are lacking. Food and snack options are extremely limited and that’s a problem when the hotel has nothing near by you can walk to. They offer no snacks no lunch options. The breakfast was disappointing and the...
