”Huoneemme oli aika perusmallia, rauhallinen, siisti ja riittävän tilava. Ikkunasta näkyi yksi (?) kaupungin kirkoista. Hotellin piha on iso, puita ja nurmikkoa sekä penkkejä. Autolle oli oma paikka heti huoneemme edessä. Aamiaistila oli toisella puolella pihaa olevassa rakennuksessa ja kiva poikkeus monista muista posliinikuppeineen. Sen toinen huone oli kuin hyvin toimeentulevan vanhan tädin kamari. Respan rouva oli hyvin ystävällinen. ”

”Very comfortable and convenient location. Right off the main road and parking was very accessible. The mattress was surprisingly comfortable. Effort by hotel mgmt was apparent with the details seen inside the room — Clean and comfortable.”

”It was an in so any person moved you could hear it, there was a transom over my door a light was turned on outside my room lit up my entire room.”

”The staff were nice and helpful. The room was clean. The propert was in terrible condition. There were 2 locks for each room door. The key only worked in one of the locks so we were given another room. Some window screens were disconnected from the frames, wallpaper was peeling in multiple places, paint was peeling off the wooden chairs outside the rooms, dead plants in pots, weeds everywhere, the bathroom fan made a terrible noise when you turned it off, the tub faucet leaked, and when taking a...

”Unique, cozy, beautiful views, and forced/friendly interaction with other guests enjoying outdoor spaces set up to enjoy the sunrise/sunset. Ideally located, the lodge is a surprise gem for a place so close to the highway. The sprinklers however detracted from our stay with an alarming and hard to identify noise in the middle of the night, waking us up by hitting part of the window or the AC unit. Sleep is important!”

”Buyer beware. When I booked, the property was listed as being close to Yosemite. When it came time to navigate from the park, our drive would have been over five hours! I called them to cancel and their response was, “well you can cancel, but you’re not getting a refund.” We were there at the end of April in beautiful weather so I didn’t expect any road closures. If you are going to book here, be sure to check maps first.”

”Older hotel with fun history. Room all re-done comfortable beds. Perfect stay for our trip to Bodie. Fun walking around town. Treat yourself and drive to the Virginia Settlement for dining just a few minutes up the road. Food was very good. The places in walking distance for dining were not great”

”Clean and comfortable. Heater worked well. Easy to get to and check in. Close to the lake and skiing. Kind of small for 2 adults and 3 teenagers. Also outlets could use updating. Overall a very nice stay and would recommend. ”
