Welcome to this nice house in Oknö, Mönsterås.The house has beds for up to 9 people, of which 7 beds are included in the rent when you book. In the large cabin, there are two bedrooms with a double bed and two bunk beds each, as well as a foldable extra bed. There is also a double bed for a fee in the cottage on the grounds if you are a larger family or company. Complete kitchen with new stove, oven and microwave and new fridge and freezer. The toilet is small but has a shower and washing machine. The house has a working wood stove, wifi and a smart TV with Swedish basic channels plus chromecast. Patios to both east and west, the western one with a roof for possible rainy days. There is space on the plot for 1–3 cars, one of which is in the carport. The entrance has a ramp for easy access with a wheelchair or stroller.



To see and do in Mönsterås and the surrounding area

About 600 m to a shallow pool with both a wheelchair ramp and diving tower. Here it is possible to rent a boat, kayak and canoe. About the same distance in the other direction is a forest with hiking trails, shelter from the wind and spontaneous swimming spots. A larger ICA store is within cycling distance. Mainly in summer, there are several food services at Oknö, otherwise it takes 5–7 minutes by car to Mönsterås center with all amenities and shops. Here are also Kronobäck's monastery ruins and the water park Vattenpalatset.

To the south is Kalmar, about 50 km away, one of Sweden's largest cities and rich in history, here there is both a castle and a cathedral plus several different museums, including Europe's largest dinosaur museum and a maritime museum. Another couple of kilometers away is Öland, the island of the sun and the winds, with beautiful nature and several old castles and castles.
