”We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. We did not try any of the spa treatments, but there was a really good selection available. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The only negative thing we have to say about it/Viesca is that...

”Sehr schöne Unterkunft. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Wenn man mit dem Auto kommt, sollte man Google Maps benutzen, um die Unterkunft zu finden. Die Zufahrt ist sporadisch ausgeschildert. Fahren Sie sehr vorsichtig, besonders in der dunklen Jahreszeit. Wenn Sie mit einem kleinen Auto oder einem Fahrzeug mit niedriger Karosserie unterwegs sind, wird es schwierig sein, gerade den letzten Anstieg zu bewältigen.”

”I had a truly wonderful experience staying at Castellare for two weeks with some friends and my parents. This was a trip that had to be postponed two years(!!) due to the pandemic, so it had some pretty high expectations to live up to, and it met them all. The property was so beautiful and worked very well do our group, allowing us to get privacy when needed, and come together as a group when we wanted to. We were able to easily get into Florence when we wanted, and we’re able to take day trips...

”Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und können es jedem empfehlen! Super ruhige Lage mitten in der Natur, trotzdem ist man schnell und unkompliziert in Florenz. Auch in direkter Umgebung gibt es in ein paar Fahrtminuten mit dem Auto schöne Restaurants, direkt von der Unterkunft kann man sehr schön spazieren gehen. Die Wohnung ist geschmackvoll und stimmig eingerichtet, die Begrüßung war toll und wir haben uns in den Tagen bei Catina sehr wohl gefühlt! Große Empfehlung!”

”Wir haben uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter sind vor Ort und sehr herzlich, helfen gerne weiter, sind aber sonst mit ihren Dingen beschäftigt. Das Haus und der Garten sind wunderschön und ganz ruhig. Florenz ist von einer kleinen Bahnstation in der Nähe ganz entspannt mit dem Zug zu erreichen. Insofern lässt sich Erholung in der Natur und Kunstgenuss super verbinden. Wir werden wiederkommen!”

There are many amazing hicking paths just nearby (starting from your doorsteps) and very good public transportation to Pontassieve and Florence.
