”Despite being located between two liquor stores and people out front loitering, our room was clean and everything worked. Plenty of clean towels and good water pressure. Breakfast (scrambled eggs, biscuits, and sausage gravy) was tasty and got us going. We didn’t feel in any danger. There did appear to be some long term parked cars as we checked in and out and some vehicles never moved. It worked for us in the situation but won’t be our first choice next time in the area.”

”Big price for minor hotel. There is no restaurant or coffee bar. The first room we stayed in the bathtub wouldn't drain. They moved us to a new room and when evening came, we tried to turn on the heat and it didn't work.”

”Building is new. Room was not ready till a hour after check in. Room need to be vacuumed and children's footprints on the bed. Breakfast was good.”

”This is one of those hotels that people live at. Like it had long term renters. Do not bring a family here. Lots of traffic and people in the parking lot through the night. We had to bring everything in from our vehicle because we were afraid we would be robbed. There are literally stickers on the inside of the door too the room saying that you should padlock the door for your own safety.”

”Room was definitely dated. Fan in the bathroom needs to be replaced - judging by the noise it was making it has been out of commission for a long time. Front desk staff said ice machine is broken. Views were wonderful and the area is a lot of fun.”

”We had to leave and stay at a different hotel due to the unsanitary conditions at Whitehall Cottages. The bed had dirt and hair on the sheets and all around the mattress. There’s no staff on the property and the owner didn’t respond back until later in the evening after we were already checked in to a different hotel. When I asked for a refund I was told he couldn’t do it because we booked through Expedia…”

”Room Number Eleven: The photo of the room did NOT match reality. The ancient berber carpet smelled like an ashtray and was full of runs and holes. It looked as if someone had punched a hole through the bathroom door with their fist, which did not make us feel safe. One of the shower walls was actually linoleum flooring that had buckled with use and the base of the shower had two thick mats that we refused to step on. The dead stink bug in the plastic potted plant was the cherry on top. We...

”Do NOT go here. it smells horrible as they allow pets long term and don’t clean properly. then we saw a roach in the microwave and left in the middle of the night with 4 kids. Manager refused to give us a full refund and was UNAPOLOGETIC. disgusting. worst stay i’ve ever had”
