”I will start by saying that we will be back to Villa Nencini next year, and for a full week's stay. Does that tell you something? The location is perfect for the walking trips; the owners/managers are on site; the grandfather is the chef, taking time to hunt the boar and deer for the larder! The rooms are clean and well-appointed, with marvelous views over the ancient Etruscan walls, down the Cessine valley to the Tyreenean Sea. Breakfast and dinner are in what was once the Villa's stable, now...

”This was the most beautiful, peaceful place. Such a dream to stay here. The staff were all lovely and the breakfast was perfect. Lots of options from fresh fruit to yogurt to croissants to eggs and delicious cheese and meats. View was gorgeous. We also had their dinner there one night and it was excellent food and such a lovely atmosphere. It was hard to leave and I would return in a heartbeat.”

”Perfect location for Volterra, great views, super friendly hosts & great rooms”

”I couldn’t even get to the venue, they didn’t answer their phones for a whole two days when I was trying to explore how best to get there. Very poor service, called, sent emails, no response. Never again!”

Molto consigliato”

”Nice, great service at the a’la carte restaurant”

”We had a wonderful stay. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. It was easy to make the room dark at night, so sleeping was comfortable. The road to the accommodation was a bit rough, but even a small car could get there. The location itself was beautiful and the surroundings were fantastic, and the staff was super helpful and nice. Highly recommended!”
