”They put us in a handicap room and would not move us even though there were empty rooms. The bed was rock hard and extremely small. The short Indian man was extremely mean for no reason. I was charged 25$ each night for my service animal and only would accept cash which I felt was weird as well.They also came in my room each day only when I was gone which I felt was weird. ”We were in a one bedroom. The bedroom had no AC and was extremely cramped. Advertized as 3 queen beds but at the least the one in the bedroom is definitely a double. The room was not in the main hotel but in a sketchy outdoor motel style building next door. We arrived at 10pm and left at 8am so all I can comment on is that room seemed clean but was very old. The bathroom was probably last renovated in the 70s. Also loud planes flying overhead even quite late at night. I don’t recommend staying...

”Room was very clean, and staff was helpful. It was a good stay overall; only reason I didn’t give five stars was it was a bit noisy with people walking in front of the room, and planes started taking off from the nearby airport before 6 (airport noise an issue for all the nearby hotels). Hotel does provide complimentary, sealed earplugs but that’s uncomfortable for me. I think if the rooms had better sound insulation it would be a 5 star based on value.”

”We had a wonderful stay at Monterey Bay Lodge! The location was perfect for exploring Monterey, and the property had such a cozy, relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and the convenient location close to the waterfront and local attractions. Overall, a great experience and a place we would happily stay at again. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

”We stopped here for a nights sleep on our way to San Francisco. Hotel was a very easy access from 101, the room was spacious and bathroom had just been renovated. Soundproofing was terrible and you could hear the noise of traffic from 101 very clearly. The sheets were stained and i think it was dirt that wouldn't come off in a wash. I woke up Aroun 5am with a bug walking on my hand, and didn't sleep after that. Otherwise it's an ok place for a shut-eye.”
