”Highly recommended location, I really enjoyed staying here at this family run B&B. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was really nice, my room was great, very quiet and comfy. The gardens are lovely and there is a great little deck to watch the sunset. Although the place is down and unpaved road I was only in a tiny 2wd car and this (and everywhere else in the area) easily accessible, just take it very slow. Would definitely stay here again ”

”Stayed three nights there. The price-quality ratio was really good. The breakfast was sufficient enough and made according to my timetable since my visit took place outside the high season. But most of all I want to thank the manager. He assisted me in reserving the zip-lines and the jungle visit. He also provided a laundry service at a very short notice. ”Host was the best, really nice and helpful! She helped us to book tours we wanted, shuttle to next location and she even did us sandwiches for the next morning we had to leave before breakfast. Be prepared with warmer clothes as it is really windy and chilly there! Room is pretty small but clean and otherwise ok. We would recommend this hotel!”

”This is a spacious home located conveniently just minutes from most anything you'd want to do as a tourist in Monteverde. The property owners are onsite and very accommodating and helpful. The included breakfast was phenomenal - probably the best breakfast I've had in years. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.”

”When we arrived to the hotel they didn't know we were coming because they hadn't got our reservation, although I had got the confirmation. Fortunately they had two rooms available. I would have called them because we came pretty late, but there wasn't any telephone number at hotels.com confirmation message. The hotel was neat and clean, but big minus is that there was only cold water in the shower. Breakfast was big and good. ”

”Owners were friendly. Great room locations, on stilts, treehouse-like, secluded, at the end of a 100m walkway in the middle of the forest. Breakfast delivered to the room-excellent! Bonus: saw several parrots and a keel-billed toucan among many other birds during our stay”

”My family's stay at Nafre House over the winter holiday was wonderful. The bed and breakfast is a perfect location for anyone visiting the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve and the surrounding area, the rooms were spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, and the staff were unfailingly gracious and helpful, in both English and our attempts at Spanish. They even brought us a New Year's Eve gift. We would recommend Nafre House to anyone visiting this beautiful area. ”

”I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too. Close to the downtown but still very quiet. ”

”This place cancelled our booking with Vrbo to be paid in cash. We paid in good faith only to find the room not cleaned, big spiders, food in fridge, uncleaned shower and questionable beds. It was so bad we left with no refund to a different place. Never never never, the pictures are a definite glow up. ”
