Le personnel est adorable (aide avec la poussette car l'entree est très difficile d'acces, mon fils a même reçu un petit cadeau à notre départ), en revanche l'hôtel est dans un véritable état de délabrement: les lumières de la chambre de fonctionnent pas, le robinet de la douche vous reste dans la main, le montant du lit est couvert de graffitis, le sol est sale. Il n'y a pas de serviettes, ni savon à disposition. Si les escaliers ne vous font pas peur et que vous recherchez juste un lit pour dormir en centre ville, c'est ok. Par contre ne comptez pas sur une bonne douche ou vous prélasser à l'hôtel.

Si le prix est votre seul paramètre, cet hôtel est parfait. Mais honnêtement, il ressemble davantage à un endroit pour drogués et prostituées. Très bruyant surtout durant la nuit.

Smelled like cigarettes (very strong in hallway, not as bad in the room). The private shower felt secure and had warm water. At times, there was no toilet paper in one of the communal bathrooms. There was also little to no hand soap, so we used bar soap instead.

It has beds, and toilets and showers down the hall. Nothing fancy, but if you're just there to visit and need a place to rest your bones, it is great.

A guy came into the reception while we were arriving to the hotel and he started a fight with the guard and the receptionist. They beat each other and ask to call the police. We had to remain at the reception to be protected from the people fighting. Then, the room offered had no individual bathroom and smells very bad.

It was a little weird that the washroom didn’t have a sink, but rather the sink was in the bedroom. But overall the hotel was very good for the price.

You get what you pay for, and I fully expected it when I booked. It was a very old building, with old interior, old outlets, etc. The whole floor shares one shower stall and one toilet. It is alright for a one-night sleep-over, but I wouldn't use it for family vacation. Small room, no TV, no towels. Convenient and close to alll amenities though.

Disappointing Stay with Unexpected Costs and Poor
I am a seasoned traveler who has used Hotels extensively for my travels globally, and never have I encountered such a disappointing experience as with my recent stay at Hotels. Despite having paid the full amount for my booking through [App Name], upon arrival, I was unexpectedly asked to pay an additional fee. This was both surprising and concerning, as my booking confirmation clearly indicated that my payment was complete. Moreover, the condition of the rooms fell far below my expectations. Not only were they not clean, but they were also very modest, lacking in the basic comforts and cleanliness standards I anticipated. This aspect of my stay further contributed to my overall dissatisfaction.

Bad experience - won't go again.
I booked a room with a bathroom and did get it but still got charged for it. The clerk let me know they were aware of it but I did not feel like a reimbursement was an option. The room was cold and no spare bed sheets were available. There was a cigarette burn on my bed cover.

The reception area has smell of smoke, someone was cooking onion and the smell of onion was all around the alley and rooms. We booked two queen beds one room but the beds were literally the size of the twin bed. The room had no washroom attached,just a single water sink,we were just wondering why is there just a sink , apparently toilet is in the alley and there is no sink to wash hands so that’s what the room sink is for .We asked the owners to give us an additional room if possible as the bed was not enough for two people,he gave us one additional room but it was weird room with a literally 1 by 1 inch bathroom and toilet and room smelled of smoke. So we had to move out immediately.Even we paid extra 24$ for 4th additional person at the time of checked in .We are not staying in this room .We moved out from hotel .I need refund for this booking

Most rooms do not have private restroom. You have to pay an extra $10 to get a room with one. They advertise free parking, by that they meant public parking in the streets. Place was cold, no TV, rooms very tiny, and you have to ring bell for someone to let you in (if someone's in the office near the door). No breakfast, and besides check out is at 11 am, not 12 pm. I know it's a budget hotel, but for $73 for a night, it is not necessarily the cheapest budget hotel someone can stay in.

Malgré que ça soit un hôtel une étoile. Il fait entièrement le travail pour quelqu’un de passage pour un week-end ou bien une semaine. Bien entendu ce n’est pas un palace. Mais à 50m de l’entrée du métro Berri-UQAM et proche de tout. Parfait pour quelqu’un qui souhaite un endroit pour y poser son sac et vadrouiller toute la journée dans Montreal.

Le seul point positif c’est qu’il est proche du métro. Sinon l’isolation je la cherche encore, les draps étaient sales, des toilettes sur le palier et en panne, le sol était sale, le mur avait des trous, la chambre très sombre, un sentiment d’insécurité surtout pour deux femmes seules, une bouteille de savon vide

The place was no where close to photos shown in the ad. I checked out soon I saw the place as it looked very unsafe, dirty and was not even in a livable condition. This place is so horrible and scary. I hope to get a refund for this as I didn’t stay there even for for 5 mins.
