”I’m a professional cleaner and usually see everything everywhere I go, this facility was beautifully kept up. The staff was soo helpful going out of their way to even find us ziplock bags for our tubing trip ! Amazing stay all the way around! Ps the kitchen even has trays they will give you to take food back to the room if you’d rather eat there .”

”We got to the motel around 8 PM Saturday night 5/16. I told the front desk that we were there to check in and made our reservations via Expedia. She asked me to give her my driver's license and I did. She looked at my license and told us we could not stay there because we lived to close to the motel. We said you got to be kidding! She said no that they have problems with local people staying there and creating problems where they have to call the cops. We live in Banner Elk which is about 50...

”Quiet, peaceful place, our deck felt like we were in a treehouse. Outstanding hosts, cabin was cozy but plenty of room for the two of us. Definitely a do-again.”

”An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.”

”Ugh. Needs updated. The bed sounded like it was going to collapse everytime I moved. The walks are paper thin and I could hear the folks next to me, as well as EVERYTHING that went on in the parking lot. Great location-it’s really unfortunate that the property doesn’t match the surroundings.”

”The place is beautiful and tucked into the woods. I recommend taking a screenshot of the instructions while you have cell service since it cuts in and out when you're that deep in the hills. You have wifi in the room which is great. Loved the property! There's a community kitchen in the lodge for all your cooking needs.”

”Location is perfect for walking into town. The hotel is fairly new so everything was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful at checkin and through out our stay. The rooftop bar ( not part of the hotel) has great views and a great place for an early evening cocktail. Not sure about the restaurant since we didn’t eat there. As far as we knew there is no breakfast service in the hotel, which is not really a problem because there are several places a short walk away. The rooms are small...
