”This was bit of an unexpected gem. The location is spectular on the rim of the San Juan River canyon. The rooms all have balconies that overlook the river and are a great place to sit and relax. The room we had was recently remodeled and was in great shape and good sized. The only warning to anyone is a limitation of Mexican Hat. There are only two restaurants in town. ”This host is amazing! She was quick to respond to our questions and so helpful and willing to meet our needs. The host had a wonderful welcome basket and a binder to help us get to know the area. The kitchen is well stocked. The couch pulls out so you could sleep on it or relax after a long day of hiking. I missed that there wasn’t a TV when I booked, but we streamed on a laptop. We would LOVE to stay here again. We highly recommend this place. ”
