”This is a private property with a great view of the Abajo mountains. It is a great base camp for exploring ruins, petroglyphs, national and state parks in the area. Ft. Abajo is a very comfortable home to come back to each night and they have an informative guide book to help you plan your days if needed. The town of Monticello is quieter than Moab, it had everything we needed, and it was nice to get out of the crowds.”

”When we pulled up, we saw a couple of deer. And they proceeded to stay in our backyard all evening! The kids loves seeing them so close. The cabin was very comfortable with wonderful beds. It was basically a completely dead cell zone area, but the WiFi was great. The cabin had lots of games, toys, and even a foosball table! We had lots of fun staying here and hope to come back the next time we are in the area.”
