âStayed here for one night here during a visit to the close by Bettmerhorn. Good basic room, very pleasant service and good breakfast. The mattress was a bit soft for my taste but good for couple nights. Short walk from the town center.â
âI had a single room in the Adhoc building. It was so warm in the room I couldnât sleep without the window being open the whole night. Of course someone kept smoking in a balcony so the smell would come to my room.
I got s message before check-in containing a pin code for self-service check-in. I never needed that code, I only needed to add my last name. The check-in kiosk was weirdly located right next to the front door of the Ad Astra hotel, so everyone walking by could see what you were...
âGreat and unique place- the only down side was the heat, at night I was not able to sleep as it was too hot and there was not air conditioning.

âWe booked this hotel at the last minute due to realizing a different hotel we had booked was much further from our destination than we thought. The staff were extremely friendly. When we told them that we would be checking out very early the next morning, they made us a packed lunch to take on our trip. We also received 20% off dinner at their on-property restaurant which ended up being the best meal of our trip. â
âThe owners who are mom and son are just the angels of the place. They go an extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and not go hungry. The property is awesome and the bar though small had all the goodies one needs.
The Son is a true human being. We reached late and the dining was closed for the night. Even then he made sure that we got something to eat and made some fries and bread with butter and treated us to a very local peach schnapps to top the experience.
The Mom is an excellent chef...
