Very poor service; the stove broke, the water heater broke, and the owners just disappeared—they didn’t resolve anything or fix any of it.
The owners live right on the premises, yet they fail to...

”Aivan loistava palvelu, hyvin hoidetut yleiset tilat, ulkoalueet, puhdas ja hyvin siivottu huone. Erinomainen ruoka. Lyhyt rantakaistale ja paikalliset hotellin pienellä ranta-alueella ainoa negatiivinen kokemus. Joka illalle teema, myøs illalliselle. Alkudrinkit teeman mukaan. Kauniit kattamukset. Nautintoa koko loman. ”

”Our visit at Castillo Romano was great! We basically had the whole castle for ourselves as there was only one other guest at the time we were there.
Location is perfect, nice view out to the sea, only five to ten minute walk to the beach and the whole concept of the place is nice. This is not a five star hotel and there's no reception. You can come and go as you wish. The groundskeeper Theo will take care of you and help you with anything. He really is a wonderful person! The staff doesn't...

”Hotel Colibri was a great place to stay. It is a bit away from busy center of the village which is just great because it is easy and cheap to move around Las Terrenas and also nice to walk to the center along the quiet beach. Hotel is clean, its beach with nice bar (and its staff) is expectional, room was spacious with good, big bed, bathroom and nice balcony/terrace. Wifi works well as well the rest of the service in this hotel. Would go back anytime!:)”
