”This accommodation is very well located in the Kelso town square and within easy walking distance to pubs, cafes and restaurants.The bakery to the left of the front door is outstanding for home cooked morning rolls and beautiful cakes. Apartment 1 is spacious, clean and has everything you need despite the furnishings being a bit dated. Note this accommodation may not be suitable for those with mobility issues due to the stairs to all rooms. This is a great base for trips to Lindisfarne,Bamburgh...

”Great location, lovely staff, comfortable room. Refreshments were a lovely touch and having a fridge was useful. Only downside was the noise outside but it was a Saturday night and not the fault of the property.”

”Colin and Lisa were superb and friendly hosts and the stay was not only comfortable and clean, but also aesthetically pleasing. The breakfasts were well prepared according to taste. We were delighted with our two nights' stay there and will hopefully return soon.”

”I was only booked in for one night. Young man who booked me in was very friendly and assisted me with taking my suitcases up stairs as unfortunately there is no lift. The stairs are rather narrow. The room was very spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. Food from restaurant was good and fairly reasonable. Unfortunately I didn’t get breakfast which is included as I had an early train to catch.”

”The only thing going for this place was the central location, near to historic sites and restaurants. The faults were many. It was advertised as a B&B, but breakfasts had ceased in June of this year. the room was shabby and claustrophobic. dust and grime were apparent throughout. the shower room was cramped and mould was apparent. The shower hose and head were caked in mould. no hot water available. the room suffered from dampness and subsequently our clothes were damp after hanging in the...
