”Lovely hotel. Very clean and well maintained. The staff were very happy and friendly. As we were leaving our room, one of the housekeeping staff thanked us for staying and wished us well. She seemed very happy in her role. The ladies at reception were also very happy and friendly and super helpful with providing info re buses and things to see and do.”

”I wasn't there long enough to form an opinion outside of my arrival and room. My 2nd message from Carey Lodge which likely contained my door code and some entrance instructions would not open so I had a bit of a hard time figuring it all out while exhausted and in a lot of pain. Expedia thankfully supplied the door code. I arrived 5 minutes after reception closed. Once to my room I.realized it had not been cleaned. I found a buzzer by the entrance and contacted someone i could not hear for a...

”The room was clean but the rest of the house was a bit of a mess. The fridge had food left in it and the garbage was foul smelling. There was dust on the fixtures, hair on the bathroom walls and the TV appears to be broken. The house had a general feeling of emptiness and being unloved. I only stayed one night of my stay and got a hotel the next morning.”

”Loved this classic hotel and was delighted with my lovely room. Open windows is always appreciated and did not need AC which is not available. Location was excellent with the beach walkway across the street. Everything one needs is within walking distance. Dining on the patio is a nice option when the weather is nice. I definitely want to stay here again!”

”Location of the property is probably the biggest asset of this hotel, walking distance to a variety of restaurants and to Stanley Park with beautiful sceneries and great walking paths. We have to carry our bags up some steps, not much facilities here like a ramp. Bedroom was very spacious and clean, bathroom was Ok. We have no use for the kitchen but is good that was there. I don’t know about parking. Overall, this is nice place to stay for few nights. Happy we did.”

”Expedia acts as an email intermediary between the guest and the user, and if their application doesn't work properly, you have major problems because the guest can't contact you, nor can you contact them. It was a challenge, but we were able to solve it without Expedia.”
