”When my Wife and I were looking for a mini vacation, my first words were quiet with maybe a little fishing. If you like the sound of birds and the wind rushing through the trees, you have found your happy place. A most excellent choice for couples with perhaps a small family. We must have missed the whiporwhill season. I was hoping to hear them again. The fishing on Smith is always a gamble so prepare to catch a ton or none. The surroundings are top notch! Silence.....ahhhh!”

”This property was everything we could wish for in a lakeside cabin. Secluded, quiet & beautiful land complete with a gas grill, fire pit, porch seating for cool evening dinners, spacious dock for lazy days fishing or swimming and a canoe with paddle’s & various sized life jackets for exploring lake Smith. The cabin was super clean with all of the necessities. The beds & linens are comfy with extra blankets just in case. We loved our stay & recommend to everyone.”

”The property was awesome. The home was equipped with everything that we needed. The views were exceptional. The only draw back was we arrived late Friday night and had to go to a public boat launch since we were not able to take the boat to the property and trying to locate the property at night in the water was a little trying. But the host did provide pretty good directions from the boat launch. I would definitely use them again.”

Some comments were “comfy beds, really cute, nice quiet neighborhood, easy to access to the house and Main Street, everything we need for a few days and more, price is very reasonable.” They would love to rent it again. ”Ok for a quick stay. I was going to be there for four days so we specifically looked for a place that had hot items for breakfast and didn’t cost an arm and a leg. After making reservations online and then checking in upon arrival I found out that they only had a continental breakfast (i.e. donuts, muffins, orange juice, and coffee. I was disappointed but stayed anyways. The staff was very friendly and helpful when needed.”
