Moderni Lake House yksinäinen lahti Long Pond, Mount Desert Island!

Nauti Long Pondista ja Acadian kansallispuistosta Long Pond Escapessa, yksityisessä, uudessa kodissa kuuden hehtaarin metsällä, joka sijaitsee syrjäisellä laella Long Pondin luoteiskulmassa.

Ensimmäisessä kerroksessa on valoisa, avoin oleskelutila, jossa on täysin varustettu keittiö, saari, jossa on 4 jakkaraa, iso ruokapöytä ja puoli kylpyamme ja olohuone, jossa on puuhella. Ovet avautuvat tilavalle kannelle järvelle päin ja sivuseinälle kuistilla. Master-makuuhuone, jossa queen-vuode ja 32 "-televisio, sekä Master-kylpy, jossa lasitettu suihku. Makuuhuoneesta on näkymät Long Pondille.

Yläkerrassa on kolme makuuhuonetta: kuningatar (myös 32 "TV), parivuode ja toisessa kaksi kaksoset ja täysi kylpyamme. Kaikista kolmesta yläkerran makuuhuoneesta on näkymät Long Pondille.

Uutta vuodelle 2019: nyt on valmis kellarikerros, jossa on perhehuone, jossa on 48 tuuman televisio, jossa on blu-ray-soitin, pelihuone, jossa mini-biljardipöytä, täysi kylpyamme suihkulla. Pesutupa on myös tässä kerroksessa. Tupla-ranskalaiset ovet avautuvat kivi patiolle, jossa on palokuoppa.

Pään alas yksityiselle satama-alueelle ja nauti uimisesta tai melosta ja tutustu Long Pondin hiljaiselle puolelle. Kanootti, neljä kajakkia, soutuvene ja polkuvene ovat kaikki käytettävissäsi nautintoa varten. Jos et halua uida tai veneillä, telakka on myös hieno aurinkoa, lukea, kalastaa tai vain nauttia näkymistä järvelle Cadillacin, Sargentin, Beechin, Mansellin ja Bernardin vuorten taustalla. Peaceful and Relaxing

This was the best vacation I have had in Acadia over twenty years. The McAllister home has everything and more. From checkin, the private dock, home fully equipped it was amazing. My grandsons had a blast on the water and the home was a respite for us as healthcare professionals. Beautiful and convenient location.

Great family week in Acadia

Another Amazing Stay

This was our 4th time staying here and it was just as amazing as our previous stays. The location is perfect - close enough to anything you might want to do on MDI yet you feel like you're the only people on the island when you're at the house. The kayaks, paddleboards, and dock are great for sunny days. We spent lots of time fishing, swimming, and paddling. There's plenty of space inside for everyone in our group (4 adults, 2 teenagers, and 1 toddler) to spread out and relax.

Wonderful home!

This home was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We have spent a week near Acadia National Park for many years and this home was our favorite. We found the setting peaceful and enjoyed the sounds of the loons on the lake. We enjoyed hiking, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and biking on the carriage roads. We would definitely rent this house again.

Peaceful Retreat

We had a wonderful stay with friends here. What a beautiful, peaceful place to enjoy friendship and nature. The property was even more beautiful than the pictures in the listing, and we had everything we needed for our stay. Check in and out was an easy process. I would highly recommend this place for a getaway to enjoy all that Acadia has to offer.

Spacious and cozy with spectacular view

We love this lake house! The area is convenient to everything but also secluded and so peaceful. It was the perfect home to relax in after a long day out exploring Acadia. I was able to cook a lot of our meals, laundry was easy to do and my kids loved the mini pool table. We would stay here again if we visited MDI again. The host was a great communicator and made the experience smooth. The house was clean and comfortable.

Perfect Acadia getaway

This cabin is PERFECT for a trip to Acadia. Great location max 20-30 minutes away from most popular spots. The house had everything we needed. We got perfect leaf peeping since the foliage was peaked. The dock was amazing and we even cold plunged. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet this cabin offered.

Awesome Girls Trip

Seven women on an epic girls trip. Spent a few days in Acadia and finished in Boston. We should have stayed longer in Acadia and enjoyed the house more. Perfect location to the park but also so much to do at the house. 10 out of 10!!!!!

A fantastic stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The view, beautiful setting, and accommodations were outstanding. We are nature and animal lovers and had the opportunity to see and hear river otter, loons, owl, cormorant, deer, and ducks. We enjoyed kayaking, hiking, the fire pit as well as sitting on the dock and beautiful deck. The proximity to Acadia and the harbors was great and we loved staying on the quiet side of the island.

Wonderful

The house was as advertised and worked beautifully. Tim was a terrific host providing an easy sign in experience and a lot of info on the place and things to do in the area. We also used the kayak, canoe, paddleboards - all are in terrific shape and included flotation vests and paddles. The location is perfect - quiet, peaceful with terrific access to all parts of the island. Terrific trip, thx!

Wonderful lakehouse next to Acadia!

Had a great time with the family. I highly recommend this property. We had fun with the water toys, exploring the area, fishing, campfires, etc. The lakehouse was within 30 min of pretty much everything on the island including Bar Harbor and Acadia.

Beautiful Lake Front

Wonderful house, loved the seclusion, very peaceful setting!, enjoyed the song of the loons every night. House was well stocked, inside and out. Many water toys, paddle boards, kayaks, peddle boat, and canoe. Plenty of life preservers, and fishing poles. Proximity to Acadias many hiking trails was great. Bar Harbor was just a short drive. We would definitely rent this house again!

Great house on MDI

We have stayed at many properties on MDI throughout the years and this one is hands down the best! The location is perfect - not too far from the Park Loop Road in Acadia or Bar Harbor, yet completely private. Long Pond is great for an early morning paddle, afternoon swim, or fishing.

Great stay on Long Pond

My family and I (ages 4-75) all enjoyed our stay on Long Pond. The house was clean and the sleeping and dining space was perfect for our family of 7. The seating in the living room was a little tight for all of us, but there was so much to do outdoors and the weather was great so there was not much time to sit indoors anyway! Most spots in Acadia were 20-30 mins away so it was a great jumping off spot for both the east and west sides of MDI. We especially recommend a sunset or sunrise hike on Beech Mountain (only about 10 mins away). There were plenty of boats and life jackets for everyone to get out on the pond and the dock is very peaceful for just relaxing. One small note is that we didn’t know to bring our own bath soaps, so we had to run out and get some. Not a big issue and overall we loved our stay and would definitely go back!

Relaxing visit to the pond

Perfectly secluded pond house with dock and plenty of boats and beds for the whole family! The house is newer and yet retains charm. We loved hanging out by the wood stove and cooking in the kitchen, plenty of cookware and utensils are provided. The wood stove was prepped with kindling and wood which was a nice touch! There is no teapot so you'll need to boil water the old school way or use the Keurig with no insert if you want hot water for tea. The house was clean, though my wife can't sit still even on vacation and managed to find SOMETHING to clean while we were there lol. The basement area is a little musty but they have a dehumidifier running and Tim says they are working on a permanent solution to the problem. It wasn't a big problem for us, we kept the windows open downstairs while we were there and it was workable. Tim was very responsive to communication through the app and called us immediately after we reported a problem with the GFCI causing the gas stove to stop working (at 7 AM!). The location to Acadia and various points of interest is perfect, just far enough that you're away from crowds, but not far enough that it seems like a slog to get anywhere. It feels like an oasis. Overall, we loved staying at the pond house and the kids have already asked if we can return next year!
