”Just a great place overall ”

”This is a true “old” Maine experience. The young, energetic staff greeted us with a warm welcome and continually checked to make sure our needs were met. The rooms were decorated in nautical themes. They were not large but well proportioned. Th bed was fantastic. The bed linens and bath towels were excellent and EVERYTHING was spotless. It was such a nice change from commercial properties. We had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We high,y recommend this lovely inn. ”

”Charming little hotel. Room was spacious comfortable and clean. Beds were adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast options of pastries, muffins, various granola and snack bars, juice, coffee, or tea. Coffee was good. My only caution is if you have any accessibility issues tell them before you get there. To access the rooms in the upper section of the hotel you must negotiate a steep hill and stairs. ”

”The facilities beautiful, the room is the nicest I have seen, the locations great BUT, when I arrived to check in the receptionist ignored us, we were the only ones there, finally we asked if we could check in and she barely spoke and was very dismissive, I asked her if she had a street map she just pointed at a pile of maps on the counter, I felt very unwanted and it was a terrible first impression. They have a lovely bar with a piano player that was wonderful and my only other negative is the...

”Very clean cabin and perfect for just 2 of us. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here next time we come to Maine. We are older so a live seat with 2 recliners would have been nice. I would definitely recommend to anyone. ”
