Lomamajat – Mount Desert Island

”Everything was great. The breakfast was delicious everyday we were there. The town was fun to walk through and convenient.”

”It was a great stay. I stayed for 5 nights; was working 3 of the nights remotely from the room and exploring Acadia during the rest. No complaints about cleanliness, location, breakfast was great, workers were friendly and kind. The only negative thing I have to say is that the walls (at least in the Main building, where I stayed) seemed to be quite thin and I could hear people speaking loudly on either side of my room. It could just be those people were abnormally loud and obnoxious. A good set...

”Christopher was a lovely host! The hotel was better than I expected. The outdoor areas for room were a great surprise. My favorite part of the stay was the two spectacular cocker spaniels. I love them.”

”this place was the perfect spot to take in the shops, restaurants, bars, and beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The room was well appoinmted with a cute reading nook, clean sheets, and even a split AC unit should we have needed it. The staff were all so kind and welcoming.....not to mention great bakers! Breakfast was wonderful every day, with a baked muffin, and a choice of a sweet or savory meal. Coffee and tea were available all day. We would not hesitate to stay here again.”

”Super clean and well maintained. Staff so helpful and friendly. 100% would recommend and would come back!”

”Super cute hotel and most importantly clean and comfortable! Breakfast was great and staff was friendly and helpful! loved our stay!”

”Loved our stay at the Primrose Inn!”

”Great overall! You really notice that everything is well maintained, clean, nice rooms, excellent friendly service, perfect location.. Lots of small perks like a gym, bikes to loan, etc”

”Great location”

”5 mins away from Acadia National Park - spacious rooms, lovely staff, and the breakfast is definitely a plus!! Coming back here in the summer!”

”No hot water placed a damper on an otherwise nice weekend. Would have enjoyed taking a shower!”

”The grounds are spectacular! Treat yourself to a waterfront view...you will never want to leave your room!”

”We could stay for 2 hours only for what was a 3-night booking! Rooms were the dirtiest that I have seen for any hotel, we could find human hair all over the floor/bed and black patches on floor. What made the situation even worse is we had a 2 year old with us. No safe and clean space for him. Fireplace felt more of a liability with the limited space and continuous smell. There was hardly any space to keep luggage, no closet whatsoever. We could spent 2 hours at this place (1 hour of which was...

”Cozy, charming cottage a short drive away from Southwest Harbor and Echo Lake Beach, as well as within easy access to all of Acadia. The house was very clean and well-kept, and the outdoor space, including the fire pit and grill, was great. Robbin was also an amazing host, both friendly and communicative. Would definitely stay again!”
