”What a special place! Close to everything but tucked away at the end of a private road. The view is beautiful and it’s a very private and peaceful setting. Our dogs loved it and we really appreciate the gates around the deck for them. And the addition of fall mums around the property was such a nice touch! Chris the host couldn’t have been nicer. Would absolutely stay here again!”

”We had a fabulous stay at the Aspen cabin. The kids swam and paddled for hours in the beautiful pristine water of Little Tunk. The sunsets and then the stars in the clear dark sky were spectacular! We are definitely excited to return next summer.”

”The cabin was great. King size bed was better than our own bed. Never slept better. Our host answered all the questions I had. The cabin was stocked with anything you needed to fix meals and bathroom was also stocked. The area was very quiet. Even watched a deer walk thru the property. It was conveniently located to Acadia National Park and we made use of the Island Explorer bus system. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to this area of Maine. Highly recommend this VRBO.”

”We had a great time at the cabin. Beautiful location, nice kitchen, even a really good place for dogs. We had everything to be comfortable. At nights the sky was breathtaking. The only problem was the mattresses. They kept creaking. Backyard was amazing! We had a such a relaxing time.”

”This quaint stay was everything we needed for our trip to MDI. Becka was a wonderful host (as was her angelic dog, Cayenne), and we loved the rustic setting. The rental was well and thoughtfully stocked. The outdoor shower was so enjoyable, serenaded by the nearby apiary. Even the early bird rooster made us laugh. Would happily stay again.”

”This property was absolutely lovely! Gorgeous views of the water right from the porch, the pictures on the listing do not do it justice. About an hour drive to Acadia and the perfect place to crash after long days of hiking in the park. No Wifi available at the house but never had any problems accessing cell service. Property was very clean and the hosts were highly responsive and helpful with recommendations for local restaurants and grocery stores.”

”We stayed at the Boathouse for our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted and more. The space is rustic yet comfortable and has a kitchenette that allowed us to make breakfast in the mornings and enjoy coffee and tea alongside our favorite feature, the wood stove. The shower had hot water and the outhouse was comfortable. We were able to unplug from it all and left feeling so rejuvenated. Hope to be back soon!”

”My week at Acadia National Park was amazing and this quaint cabin, which is steps from the park itself and trails, was everything as listed. It was clean, newer and quiet. I was on a solo trip, but it could easily sleep 4 or 6 people with the loft. The inside is roomy with a single bathroom with shower and a full kitchen, and the outside offered a grill and fire pit (stocked plentifully with wood to burn). ”The stay was fine and the host a nice enough guy. However, just to lay out some facts: - The primary picture of the shed was taken before the units 1 and 2 were hung on the outside. The unit is half of that and you share a wall with another guest where you can hear everything they say or do. - The shed is about 50 yards from the primary house and about 50 feet from another structure that is an active construction site. - In order to turn on the AC, you have to stand on an old fold out wooden...
