Viehättävä täysin kalustettu 1 makuuhuoneen mökki, jossa on tilava ulkoterassi, josta on upeat näkymät Floridalle, kuten vilauksen Gerturden järvestä. Kävelymatkan päässä keskustasta Mt Dora. Täydellinen keittiö, jossa on jääkaappi, jääpalakone, liesi, mikroaaltouuni, kahvinkeitin ja grilli. Taulutelevisio kaapelilla, langaton internetyhteys, DVD-soitin. Barbra & Mace were very accommodating to all our needs. The kitchen is well stocked for a lengthy stay and cooking in. The bedroom is cozy and comfortable.The location is perfect for a walk along lake Gertrude. A longer walk or very short drive to reach all the action in downtown Mount Dora is also convenient.This was our second stay and will definitely be going back.

The house keeping was poorly maintained, especially in the bathroom where there was mold on the shower door frames, tracks and wooden baseboards. In addition there were live ants in the bathroom and other areas inside the home. The freezer in the refrigerator had orange liquid that was frozen and the grates were rusted. I submitted photos of all these issues in my previous e mail sent.

We absolutely LOVED this Secret Gem of a Private, Well-Decorated, feeling of home with the most Wonderful Hosts Retreat!! Although we never met, I felt as though, we knew what kind of people Barbara and Mace are! Loved the Poem in the Bedroom and read it everynight, I swear I have read this before in a book somewhere. We would have loved to meet them, we loved being Welcomed by the Cats and enjoyed the peacefulness and solitude this place creates, to get away from the hustle & Bustle of life! Peace and quiet

Comfortable ample seating for watching a movie on Netflix even without our own account. Very quiet, beautiful neighborhood and we were able to walk down to the water for some exercise. We appreciated our welcome bottle of wine, coffee and snacks. Bed was a little firm for me and that was the only negative. We finally made some time to sit on the deck before leaving and it was very pleasant. No biting insects despite the impressive quantity of little flying things we saw everywhere outside windows at night in Mout Dora area. Would stay again if we ever come this way again.

Was a trip arranged for my daughter and friend. Barbara was responsive to all communications, was very sweet in putting together a little welcome treat for them, and very accommodating. Girls commented on the cuteness of property, location to town, and overall vibe of property.

Mt Dora High Hedges Cottage

We had a wonderful time at High Hedges Cottage. Our hosts were so gracious. The location of the cottage was very close to downtown, all the local lakes and nature walks. The cottage also had anything we could possibly need, very clean and nicely decorated. We definitely will be coming back !
