Lomamajat – Mount Hutt

”We stayed 1 night, we were passing through (off season). Few guests, all quiet, morning breakfast alright, price was fair. Shower and restrooms adequate with soap and plenty of hot water, towels provided in good condition. The only issue i had was that this lodge was very far from the road, up a gravel road with no guard rails at all. Either it was not disclosed or i didnt find it on the website. Very scary getting up to the lodge after sunset, in the dark, dodging rabbits left and right.”

”Overall, it was a pleasant stay. However, it needs to be clearer that the lower-priced options have a shared bathroom (the pictures of the bathroom should not be included in the room pictures). We were able to upgrade rooms, and it was much nicer. Be mindful that there isn't usually a person at reception and if you want to get in contact, you need a New Zealand based number.”

”On our brief trip to Christchurch we had the privilege of staying in The Classic Villa. The hosts were very friendly, the place is exceptional and the breakfast was superb. We highly recommend.”
