”Rooms were nice and staff was friendly. Property was fine. They are definitely on vacation time as meals are slow (2+ hours for a meal). The restaurants leave a bit to be desired. Poesia was not great at all - probably the worst meal in our party we had in the whole island and the worst Italian. The place is new but the chef is trying to be too creative with limited access to ingredients. A few people had a shrimp dish with tomatoes and no-one had tomatoes in it. Azure is okay - mediocre. ”I stayed there during off-season so it was very quiet and they didn't have "Chef" etc. during that time. I got 50% discount compared to regular rate and they up-graded me to a nicer room without extra cost.
Big hotels and resorts just can't offer that "old world" feel and personal service.”
