”Nice cottage with cooking facilities, e.g cooking plates and fridge. Very beatiful scene from the cottage. Living room had a fireplace. We spent three nights there. Jenolan caves about 20 min by car. Suggest to use two days for the caves. Every morning just after sunrise we saw several wallabies, one even afternoon walking just beside our cottage. Staff was very friendly, they even reserved us cave tickets, that I recommend to do. Enter the caves before noon to guarantee to get a parking place...

”Paula and Jamie were so lovely and helpful. They upgraded us to Blue Slate Cottage as we wanted to cook more. They gave us fresh eggs and herbs from the chook pen and garden. Both cottages were were delightful with good facilities and plenty of firewood. There were lots of kangaroos, deer, goats, ducks and an emu on the property. The property is an easy drive Wombeyan Caves and Taralga. We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the peace and quiet an extra day”

”We had a wonderfully peaceful stay as a family of four with two kids. The spacious grounds were perfect for the kids to explore, giving them plenty of room to roam and enjoy nature. Inside and out, the property was warm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor fires—and plenty of firewood provided, which was a lovely touch. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the host was friendly and responsive. A beautiful and relaxing country escape—we’d love to come back!”

”Beautiful home in a great part of the world. No issues with communication or check-in even though we literally booked the accommodation the night before. Tastefully renovated and had everything that was needed and more. Being right near the Argyle Inn was an added bonus. Was a shame we were only there for the night. Looking forward to getting back there ASAP for a long weekend. ”

”We had a wonderful stay at Taralga Terraces - Whiting's Store and loved the town. It was cold so we made the most of the combustion fire and the beds were cozy and warm. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had all the amenities we needed. We ventured out to Wombeyan Caves and also had dinner at The Argyle Inn which was fantastic. Crookwell is also a lovely little town. Lisa was a great host and easy to communicate with. We would love to come back to this centrally located property.”
