âI needed a budget motel for a quick pitstop on a multi-day road trip. Although the property was older and sorely needs remodeling/updating, it was obviously well cared-for to the best of the staff's ability. The property, lobby, grounds, and rooms were exceptionally CLEAN and the all of the staff we encountered were exceptionally NICE. âThis was a pleasant surprise! Nicest, cleanest, friendliest place weâve been in a very long time! Staff went over and above expectations to make sure we had a first floor room and to ensure that Expedia straightened out a glitch that had us booked for two rooms instead of one. Fresh baked cookies and smiling faces greeted us, breakfast was hot and good, and everyone had a wonderful attitude. Room was clean and spacious, bed and pillows very comfortable. âRoom was no smoking, but smelled like smoke. Carpets in the halls/ stairwells were very stained and dirty. Just disn't feel very clean. Bathroom was okay. Sheets had markings on them (??)â
