”Whispering Sands has a basic set up, but was comfortable. Everything worked and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast is grab and go, but there were some tables and chairs set up outside as well. On the whole a good stay.”

”Great place to stay in town. Plentiful parking and so easy to walk to the handful of great places to dine and visit. Room was nicely updated and perfectly clean. Spacious bathroom, plenty of clean, white towels and we enjoyed our complimentary coffee outside in the cool desert morning. I would absolutely stay again.”

”The caretaker/host was super helpful and very nice! The room was perfect for what we needed although the water in the shower kind of blasted on you when turned on. The location is fantastic. We walked to the Royal Gorge Railway just across the street and there are a lot of food places close by. The breakfast area was down the stairs in rooms right next to the street but they have a nice patio up on the main level where you can sit and eat outside while watching people in the park across the...
