”The hotel itself is beautiful, the pools are mostly great. We had a swim up room and the pool outside was the worst pool of all, the window sill had caved in, the pool floor damaged, the fan control broken, pillows uncomfortable. I wouldn’t recommend the room type for the price we paid but the hotel is great. The service wasn’t fantastic, we weren’t advised where amenities such as gym were on check in and later found out we had to leave the resort and cross the road to access.”

”Mantra Portsea is nicely decorated apartment hotel within walking distance from the center. The service level is good otherwise, but the rooms are only cleaned once a week. We stayed for 4 days so this was sufficient. You can get clean towels if you like. The breakfast was good. However during my stay I washed some clothes and they were damaged because the clotheshorse in the balcony was rusted. The hotel agreed to compensate the clothes after the housekeeping was unable to remove the stains....

”Absolutely loved our stay in the swimout apartment. Perfect spot, kids had a ball. The pool is fantastic. The welcome email from the owners was thorough and comprehensive, even gave great suggestions as to what to see and do as well as restaurant recommendations.
