”We loved the red brick cottage. Great location with wildlife everywhere and a good BBQ area twenty yards away. Owners very thoughtful as they left logs for the coal fire as we were experiencing a cold weather spell. Unique and wonderful place to stay. ”

”Less than half a hour’s drive to Ararat. Cute cottage located right next to the cellar door. Comfy bed, hot shower, and provision of fresh coffee via a quality machine made for a pleasant stay. ”

”We loved our stay! Kangaroos everywhere and emus greeted us in the am. The villa was spaciois and had a super comfy bed. The host sent check in info by text which was helpful and we were so happy to have been left a lovely loaf of bread, butter and jam, milk, cereal and a bottle of wine. We were able to have breakfast there before heading off to the Pinnacles. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay. Wish we had more time!”

”The whlole experience was great. Very helpful and welcoming staff. Cozy room was nice, and bbq area was nice way to spend night. We saw plenty of kangaroos!! :) I would definitely come back and recommend this place. ”

”Simple place. Staff were nice. Check in was efficient. Facilities are very basic which is fine if you do not expect to hand out in the park all day (above ground pool, equipment for very young kuds etc). Cabin was fine. Clean and did the trick. I would go back.”

”Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay at Awonga Cottage. It’s a spacious 3 bedroom conveniently located about 1 km from Hall’s Gap General store. There is parking just outside the cabin. Plenty of room in a well equipped kitchen and 2 living areas. We cooked dinner each night. A lovely large balcony with a bar table and stools plus an outdoor coach made breakfast next to nature very enjoyable. We can see Boronia Peak at the back of the property. Wifi was good. We were able to sign into our Netflix...

”The rooms are as basic as can be. A bed. A towel. Shelving. One plug. No TV. No aircon. No flyscreen. A shared kitchen and dining area is a big positive. It’s good basic accommodation.”

”Visited Hi-Way Eight Motor Inn for one night with a group of friends while on a weekend trip to the Grampians. Location was perfect when coming from Melbourne, and our stay was overall very pleasant. The room was in stellar condition and the hotel staff was very friendly upon arrival and throughout our stay. You definitely get value for your money, and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone. ”

”Room was clean but very tired. Could have done with a can of Raid for the spiders and flies in our room. Reception was unattended for the whole of our two night stay and I didn't see any members of staff the whole time. Swimming pool was nice and refreshing. Laundry was expensive at $10 for use of a domestic-sized washing machine and antique tumble drier.”

”Nice property that has recently been refurbished, so the room was updated, clean, new furniture, freshly painted and modern bathroom. Location was excellent as it was right in town. Excellent value considering the rooms are modern.”
