Dear Ross, We're genuinely sorry for any confusion regarding the air conditioning, and we regret that it seems to have greatly impacted your experience with us. It's disheartening to hear your perception of our staff's communication and the suggestion of deception on our part. Our listing on Expedia accurately reflects our amenities. We are a very small team of locals who love our hotel and our city, and enjoy making our guests feel at home.The AC is not broken, it is an environmentally-friendly system which only activates when the outside temperature reaches 16 degrees. Given that the overnight temperature was around 6 degrees, the AC wouldn't have been very effective. We have now communicated this again so that work is no longer carried out early in the morning. The resulting building dirt is now being dealt with more actively by our housekeeping team.
