”Things we will remember in order:
1) No WiFi in the apartment (10A), though promised in advance. After mentioning this nothing happened
2) No access to sauna for a 15-year-old with the parents and no other people in the spa area. We were not told about the age limit beforehand in reception nor while booking the sauna/spa hour. Sauna should be for everyone (spa of course not for teenage groups without adult supervision)
3) Nature and views very beautiful; quiet all around even though hotel was...

The only negative I have is the lack of air conditioning and /or ceiling fans in guest rooms. The windows are set up to open only about an inch. This does not allow for air flow. Very stuffy ”

”Loved this hotel! We stayed in a family room with our 4 kids. We all loved the hotel - the Irish breakfast was fantastic, we had dinner at the restaurant and the food was good, we played mini golf, and the kids swam in the pool. Hotel is very nice and our family loved it! ”

”The rooms at the Nevins Lodge were newly renovated and a spacy :-) bath. The beds are spatious and new. The people at the pub were very helpful and very supportive.
When you book we recommend you ask for rooms to the back of the building. The Nevins is at THE Wild Atlantic Way, with at least during the day a lot of traffic.”

”Stayed here for a week as a base to mooch around Mayo where my family roots are. Hotel decor is a little tired here and there but that did not affect our enjoyment or not make hotel VFM. Lots of friendly local/Irish staff, which I think helps to add warmth to the atmosphere and is perhaps unusual for this size of hotel - perhaps because of Westport’s size? Food is great. Had been meaning to climb Croagh Patrick for a while and finally got round to it this time. This is not for the feint-hearted...
”First time in Castlebar and found this hotel to be a great location to stay in before my meeting next day.
Whilst i arrived after 7pm and the restaurant kitchen closed at 7pm, I rang the reception and they offered me the choice to pre order a dinner - went for Roast Beef.
On arrival check-in was very swift, my room was warm and comfortable and dinner when served was delicious.
Quiet room with warm shower and great bed - so superb sleep enjoyed.
Breakfast was delicious with nice choices on...
