”The best hotel we stayed at during our Japan trip! There was no breakfast option, but the room made up for it. A spacious room with incredible amenities. Getting to the hotel at the end of the day felt like getting home!”

”The staff, service and food were exceptional. The location was perfect for what we wanted out of a four night stay in Kyoto. But, it was the staff that made the experience memorable. Some of the key spots are just around the corner from the hotel. Given the crowds during the day, it was easy to see them early in the morning or after dinner when the crowds were much smaller. If you are looking for the perfect atmosphere from a traditional small Japanese Ryoken then look no further!”

”We had a spacious living / sleeping room with two beds and a futon floor which can accommodate three mattresses. For two adults and a 11-year old this was spacious in Japan's standards - for five adults it could get a bit crowded. The beds were large enough for me to sleep conveniently at 200 cm / 6'7". The hotel is located in 10-15 mins walk from Gion's biggest tourist hotspots. The closest metro stations are 5-10 min away. We liked the location which was quite peaceful - you do end up walking...

”A wonderful place to stay in Kyoto! The quiet streets and temple area near by was a fantastic experience. The room was very neat and spacious and the facilities were great. We used a lot the free device which helped to find the right streets and restaurants. I highly recommend the hotel!”

”The Hyatt is conveniently located not far from a JR Sunday line from where one can reach almost all interesting locations in Kyoto. The rooms are well designed, clean and quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The Japanese restaurant is nice and provides good food & good & friendly service but it is expensive compared to restaurants at the Ponto-cho. If one has a car parking is provided on site for a fee. My wife and I staid for 6 nights and we liked the hotel.”
