Harbor View Landing, Mystic CT - The Block Island Waterfront Cottage

Harbor View Landing is located in the historic town of Mystic, CT.
The property is situated on one end of Willow Point, just a half mile outside of the downtown area. Our property consists of 4 waterfront cottages and 2 multi-unit homes. This property opened in June of 2019 and offers many included amenities such as a private dock with kayaks and paddle boards as well as complimentary bikes, fire pits and lawn games, all over looking the beautiful Connecticut coastline.

The Block Island unit boasts of a spacious queen-sized, one bedroom waterfront cottage, with separate living area and custom tiled private bathroom. This cottage comes equipped with retro mini-fridge, microwave, Nepresso coffee maker, HD TV, Amazon smart speaker, free wi-fi as well as a complimentary bottle of wine and water. Matouk linens and luxury Molton Brown bath products. Beach towels provided for complimentary water activities.

My mother, daughter and I had an amazing time staying in the Block Island property. It was perfect for the one night we spent in Mystic. It was so clean, convenient and comfortable. The hosts added little classy touches like a complementary bottle of wine, blankets for outside and even binoculars to check out the harbor. Can’t wait to go back when we are able to spend more time.

The property managers have literally thought of everything for a comfortable well-appointed stay, including an Alexa speaker for music, binoculars to view sights in the bay, lights under the porch for nighttime illumination, and a pleasant plug-in scent diffuser. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was spotless, and the flowers at both the front and back door were beautiful and well-maintained. In fact, many of the touches (such as the torch-style lightbulbs along the waterfront) were the same as I’ve chosen for my own home. The Block Island cottage was superb, and I would love to return and spend more time here! 10 out of 10!

Amazing Place

I booked this place as a surprise for my wife on our return trip from Boston after dropping our daughter off at college. She was so surprised and loved it. I can NOT strongly recommend this place any more than 5 starts. The only con is the North East corridor train tracks are right behind you - But you can’t hear it.

Kid Free Escape

My husband and I were able to escape for a night without the kids, and Harbor View Landing did not disappoint! Although, we both suggested next time we bring the kids with. We stayed in the Block Island cabin and it was perfect. Super clean, quiet with a perfect backdrop of the water. We could’ve sat on the porch the entire stay, and both agreed next time we wouldn’t even bother going into town. We’ll be back… maybe with the kids… maybe not!

Quick One Night Stay

Stayed here for one night and it was absolutely perfect. The scenery surrounding the property is beautiful even during the off-season and was charmingly quiet during our stay. Everything from the sheets to the hand soap are top notch and felt like a true 5 star experience. Would recommend this property and it’s surrounding options to anyone in a heartbeat!

Oasis in Mystic

Great experience finding this little gem amid the shipyards and trains of Mystic. Great location and quaint properties. Tucked away on the water, but close to all the restaurants and tourist attractions. We can't wait to come back. Would love it to be pet friendly and have Keurig coffee makers, but still wonderful overall!

Excellent Mystic Getaway

Beautifully renovated clean cozy cottage with amazing water view. The bed, comforter, linens are super comfortable. Nice touches like complimentary bottle of wine, beach towels, outdoor blankets were really appreciated. Absolutely everything you need to enjoy a few days away in Mystic. We will definitely be back for another stay!

Looking forward to coming back!

You couldn’t ask for a more perfect setting in Mystic, 5 minute drive from downtown, directly on the harbor, the sunrise was amazing coming up over the water in the morning. The cottage was clean, modern and had everything you need, plus some extras, like a welcome bottle of wine and Molton Brown toiletries, what a treat! Only issue we had were VERY noisy neighbors in the next cottage. They were up until 2 am being very loud. This is not a reflection of the property owner, but we stayed here to get a peaceful night sleep away from downtown Mystic, and that didn’t happen. We plan to return in the warmer months and take advantage of the bikes, and other outside activities nearby and hope we have more courteous neighbors then.

We had such an amazing time. It was perfect! One of the most beautiful places I have stayed. Everything inside looked new. It was spotless. We enjoyed using the kayaks which were out and ready to be used. Loved the bottle of wine and music playing upon arrival! Very thoughtful.

Perfection!

I had stayed for a girls weekend in the block island cabin. The house was GORGEOUS the house is straight from an hgtv makeover, finishes and decor are spot on!! The property manager patty was so kind and friendly. The location was close to downtown and the views were out of this world incredible. The sunrise was magical we will definitely be coming back!
