We thought we have found a good hotel this time in Fiji. The receptionist upon arrival was a good experience with a smooth and friendly staff. Breakfast the next days is also fine with good food too. There’s also nice service desk lady that provide us superb assistance for the activity going to malamala island.
But the check-out experienced is really scary we felt that upon check-out the staff was too long to respond to us maybe 10mins before he said something, then he said that there’s a huge blood stain in one of the pillow. So I asked calmly are you sure it’s our room number, he paused again and said yes then I asked what part of the pillow because it was clean before we go out from the room and we made sure that we have locked it so only staff can get there. The staff said it’s in the back of the pillow, then I asked again can I see it upstairs, then he paused again for another 3 mins and show me in the image in the computer screen. Upon seeing the blood then I ask again that’s a very fresh stain so if it’s at the back of the pillow why is that the sheets has no stain? Then I ask to see it upstairs, then he told me that the cleaner already got it. He asked if we got lipstick that could have caused it, so I politely tell them we don’t have lipstick just lip balm, no wounds and no period as well. From my perspective the stain is very fresh, so it looks like it was just put it on there while we are waiting at the check-out counter. We told them that this is a scary event.
