”This is a lovely 'boutique hotel' in an absolutely beautiful part of the area north of Nakanojo near Lake Okushima. I wanted a truly Japanese place and I got it. Few, if any, 'foreigners' in the area. I was provided a bike and road around for 3 hours. The owner is a beautiful, kind lady and her and her staff treated me like a king. I had a room with a private hot spring pool - all I can say is "wow". If you want to see a place off the beaten track, I highly recommend this hotel.”

”It was great experience staying at this place. Right after we went to gala Yuzawa ski came back to the hotel and dipped ourselves into the large Ofuro in the basement. Smoking was not allowed inside or well outside the house so it was the only problem me and my friends faced during the stay but all in all we enjoyed our stay at the place. Place is warm and cozy. Recommend for friends and family or in groups over 5 people. ”
