”We really enjoyed our stay at Dar Sohane. The riad was located very close to the main square, but still on a very peaceful alley. The staff was super friendly and was even able to offer us a vegan breakfast. We were also able to find some fantastic vegan restaurants from a close distance - such as Henna Art Cafe and Earth Cafe. Our room was spectacular, but the common areas didn't really match to our expectations. Even so, we absolutely loved to stay at Dar Sohane!”

”The riad staff was very friendly and helpful with subtlety. The oriental suite was beautiful (and did not have the scary costume hanging above the bed in the photo) and the heater was big enough for the room to be a comfortable temperature even with the cold nights of January. ”We stayed in Riad Elias on mid Jan. Room had heating but it was still cold, especially shower. Bring your slippers! Room didn't have a window or mirror so it was a bit dark. And only one small wardrobe. There was some white mold (maybe not dangerous) in toilet/shower and it also smelled funny. Room and place was otherwise very clean and owner was nice. If you like hassle in Medina the situation is good for that.”

”Overall it was an excellent stay. We loved the style of the hotel. We loved how quiet it was even though it’s in heart of medina, step away from souks. Staffs were amazing, always smiling and very helpful. Loved the selection of breakfast. GISLANE was very sweet and she made sure we were looked after. it was very clean, cosy, looked very very good and it’s a very safe accomodation. You can’t enter the Riad yourself, you have to ring the reception and they will come to open the door for you....
