Lavender Cottage with Pool, Nestled Between Countryside and Sea

Come and enjoy the absolute peace of the marshes, just 30 minutes from the wide ocean beaches and the majestic forests of Vendée.



This cottage is set in a protected Natura 2000 area, on a unique 2-hectare property between woods and canals. Le Bas Marais is located in the Marais Poitevin in southern Vendée.



The bright cottage accommodates 5 guests, with large glass doors opening onto the garden and canal. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven, and microwave, and opens onto the living room with TV. There is one bedroom with a double bed, another with bunk beds (double below, single above), and a spacious bathroom.



Adjoining other cottages, each has a private garden at the back separated by shrubs, a terrace, barbecue, outdoor furniture, and sun loungers facing the canal.



The heated, secure pool is open from mid-May to late September, weather permitting, from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.



Set out from your cottage for a boat ride on the Canal des Hollandais.



For your leisure, you’ll find outdoor games: football, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, darts, swings, slide, and Molkky.



Bikes for all ages are available.



Fishing enthusiasts are welcome; please bring your own gear.

Pets are not allowed.



Bed linen and towels can be reserved in advance for an extra charge, with beds made up for your arrival. Baby equipment is available free of charge on request (made-up cot, high chair, bathtub).



Underfloor electric heating is available for an extra charge.
