Beautiful Area

The location of this rental was absolutely beautiful, just followed google maps as per host directions and found my way there. This was my first time with vrbo and i was abit sketchy and nervous if I had a place or not, but everything was up to par. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the host was very helpful, I was looking for a vehicle for my son and the gentleman was helpful in my search which was great.appreciated. Would definitely stay again.

This rental was Clean, very reasonably priced, in a beautiful area and had all the ammenities a person would need for a short or long stay. A few things to take note of before renting are as follows: -While beautiful, the area is a subburb and not within a short walk of any restaurants/stores. -There is not a hot tub on the property as it states in the current add. This wasn't a problem for us but i could see it being a dissapointment to others. -There is not much sound proofing between the rental and the hosts living above. This is not the hosts fault, just the way the house was built. I think worth noting though that while in the rental you can hear all the walking/ doors & cupboards closing/ sinks upstairs. Over all it was a great deal and we enjoyed our stay!

Great Stay In Nanaimo

The place looks exactly like in the photos, had a bit of a hard time finding it as you actually have to access it from another street. The host was very nice and responds quickly if you need them for anything. You definitely need a car but it was in a great location for what I needed and the neighbourhood is very quiet.

Many Inconveniences

Clean and well equipped except extra blankets and towels not easily located. Biggest draw back was the lack of controls in the unit for heat and AC - we were either too cold or too hot. Would have been nice to have a small table and a couple of chairs to sit at while having breakfast. TV should be in living room and not bedroom. Should have fitted sheet as bottom sheet on bed - existing sheet did not fit the bed. House is not located on street listed and had we not been familiar with Nanaimo we may have not found the house.

The TV was not hooked up to cable, power button on remote broken. I had to chase down host for information on how to enter the unit. Homeowners above had a dog that would bark like he was always wanting to attack. When I said it was so loud I couldn’t be on my phone outside with the dog barking - host just replied that he was friendly. I left a day early. Other than that - things were great.
