”The staff were amazing, helpful and friendly. Although the road in is a bit of a challenge, we did not mond, we liked the somewhat remote location. It keeps the place low key and relaxing. The beach is beautiful, we did not even mind that it was too rough to swim. The restaurant has a great view and the food was great. It will be a go to place of we return to Panama.”

”We stayed two nights at Colibri in February. The place is nicely designed, so that all the cabins have patios directly towards the sea. We had the second cabin counting from the beach, and the passing motorboats didn't disturb us at all, which might be the case with the last one. The bathrooms are nice and clean, and you get hot water. You have sun on the front patio till the mid afternoon and you can even have a swim from the last two cabins where the water is a bit deeper. Bed was comfortable...

”Food and the room were perfect ”

”Surfari was a great place to stay. The breakfast was really good and we slept well as there was not that much noises from the streets (sometimes heavy rain, barking dogs or a rooster crowning woke us up). The staff were really nice and helpful. Rooms were very basic, quite small, but clean and hot water in the shower was a great value. There were 2 kitchens where you can prepare your own meals with lots of kitchen equipments.”

”A nice, clean comfortable place to stay in town within walking distance from the marina etc. Tammy and her staff were friendly and helpful. There is a nice upstairs porch where you can relax and look at the water. The breakfast was good and it was nice that they provided bottled water, room in the refrigerator and beach towels. Definitely recommend! ”

”The Bambuda Lodge is a great place to stay and relax. It says Hostel but it is much more than that. You can book your private rooms and still enjoy the community. They offer a family dinner with different dishes to choose from every day and you easily get to know other travelers. There is regular activities planned. We especially enjoyed the Jungle Trail with our guide Samuel. He led us through the muddy jungle - a fun experience. All of the staff is super friendly and we would definitely...

”Everything was fantastic, my host Joan was incredibly welcoming and helpful in making my experience in Bocas great. I was fortunate to get a room upgrade which I’m grateful for and got to be in the over water bungalows. The food was delicious, especially the lobster!! The staff, location… I reiterate, everything! Simply enjoyable. Highly recommend ”

”I had a really relaxing stay at the Sea Monkey. I was in awe of the breathtaking views, and spent much of my time relaxing on the outdoor hammock enjoying the weather and location. The staff were quick in responding to requests via whats app and were super helpful! I enjoyed the little town that was accessible by foot and appreciated that this was also just a 5-10 minute boat ride to other activities. I so cannot wait until I get to come back again!”
