”My room was clean, shower was clean…breakfast area looked fine to me when I grabbed coffee and muffin. Staff was very courteous and friendly. ”

”The room had cockroaches ,and mice in it. I know things happen ,but when mentioned to the staff they offered zero help and seemed more annoyed than anything. The hallway smelled like pee as well. Given the latter it’s the better of the two in the area ,but I’d travel further than stay here again.”

”We loved staying at this historical home away from home. The house is full of nice touches and antique furniture, large rooms and beautifully staged. The kitchen is well equipped. We loved the rural get away from it all location, yet is just 90 minutes from Lexington. Gwen was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Very much a caring host. ”
