”We really loved this hotel! Breakfast every morning was wonderful and the family that runs the hostel is so kind and helpful. The only downside is that it is a 15 minute walk (downhill) to the beach and uphill back to the hotel. We didn’t really mind as we usually packed a day bag and only made one trip there and back each day. ”Bro & Sis place is an excellent stay for a few nights, so close to piers you can see when your boat to leave docks. Surprisingly quiet, nice to hear the waves day and night though. The host is very accommodating, we extended our stay for more diving time with no problem. Rooms are very clean and modern, beds are super comfy if you like it a little firm. ”The staff always made me feel welcome and comfortable. The room was excellent; clean, stocked, comfortable bed and functioning a/c. If I needed help or direction it was always given, including first aid when needed! The location was close to everything but it was not at all noisy. Overall Utopia House was an excellent choice for my stay on Koh Tao and I would highly recommend it to other travellers.”

Her name is Nam (hope spelling is correct) and her english is very good which really helps with going places and booking tours. Would definitely stay here again. She booked the Diamond tour which was great. The tour took us all around the island and we made numerous stops for snorkling. It was 850 baht and was well worth the price. ”Perfect familyholiday by a perfeft view! Location is beatiful, views awsome but note that it means remoteness to main "service areas" and steep hills. Although there is a shuttle service to take you to main villages it's only one way so we rented a scooter and ATV (taxi's are quite expensive) but the roads are not for beginners to drive. Staff is absolutely nice though cleaning could have been more careful some days. Villa was just great although air in the downstairs bedroom was fusty.”

It is just a walking distance from the Sairee beach with all of its bars and restaurants (I recommend using motorbike or taxi during evening/ night time).
