”Gite de Lou looks even better in real life, very nice and well equipped. Very spacious private garden and a lovely spotless pool. Christine was very friendly and welcoming, and spoiled us with lovely tasty tiramisu and other desserts. We would highly recommend the gite which is set in a quiet rural area, and gives a taste of the real France. ”

”It was an unforgettable stay . The Domaine itself is a unique property with a lot of land to explore, and you can also use their amazing facilities like gorgeous fitness, tennis, badminton, pool, etc. The room was perfect in every way: lighting, comfort of the bed, linens, huge, very well lit bathroom. We were invited to the BBQ dinner and hesitated first, being with the dog and also being pescatarians. We went there just to see if it would be ok, but it turned out to be one of the most amazing...

”Comme à la maison ! Greg et Sophie sont hyper accueillant et sympathique. On s est senti comme chez la famille c est à dire très à l’aise. Le domaine est magnifique. Le repas préparé par Greg est divin ! Je n’ai Jamais mangé une purée aussi bonne. Nous avions une chambre de 48 m2 tout était prévu pour nos enfants Encore merci à Sophie et Greg ! ”

”Très bon accueil dans cet hôtel charmant, dans ce village fort calme en ce début de février. L’hôtel est bien tenu, bien décoré, avec d’anciennes machines à coudre et à écrire, bien entretenues, dispersés dans les couloirs. Hâte d’y revenir en été pour profiter de la piscine et du jardin. ”

”The most wonderful hosts and idyllic location. Beautiful huge garden, always plenty going on in what seemed like a very small town. Stephen and Michaela were so warm and welcoming and were very knowledgeable on the local area with some fabulous recommendations for food and things to do nearby. Great facilities and very clean house, even had an air fryer which is a proper luxury in France! There is so much in and around Confolens if you’re willing to look for it! Would stay again in a heart beat.”
